Westboro, Northboro and Shrewsbury used to be called 'the golden triangle" because they were the most desired communities in Worcester County due to the fact that we had so many High Tech Companies such as Wang Laboratories, Digital Equipment Corporation, Data General, etc. All except Wang Laboratories is still here but on a much smaller scale. Westboro offers a great school system and great proximity to those who work in the Boston area.
Demographics:
Westborough is a town in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 18,272 at the 2010 census, in nearly 6,900 households. Incorporated in 1717, the town is governed now under the New England open town meeting system, headed by a five-member elected Board of Selectmen whose duties include licensing, appointing various administrative positions, and calling a town meeting of citizens annually or whenever the need arises.

Westboro has it all. A town center with many little boutiques to choose from. A short distance to the Solomon Pond Mall in Northboro. A short distance to the new Wegman's in an enormous mall with a T. J. Maxx, B.J.'s, Golf Sports, Pet Smart, Charming Charlies, Michael's, Babies r us, Toys r us and many more. You will never run out of places to shop in Westboro.
